Transportation and Access

Greater Hartford is easily accessed through its network of interstate highways and roadways. In fact, transportation is one of the Hartford region’s prime assets. Riverview Square is ideally located in the center of these criss-crossing roadways, with immediate access and excellent visibility from both Interstates 84 and 91, as well as Routes 2, 5 and 44, making it convenient for commuters from any area of the state.

Auto and Pedestrian Access: Riverview Square is situated on the north side of I-84, with access via Exit 54. Pedestrian access is afforded by walking trails and footbridges spanning the banks of the Connecticut River.

Rail: Union Station, located in Hartford’s Central Business District, provides public transportation via both train and bus. Amtrak operates passenger service to major points throughout the country, including New York, Washington and Boston, while several interstate bus companies provide long-distance passenger service. Additional services provided at Union Station include taxi and airport limousine services.

Air: Bradley International Airport (BDL), located along I-91 in Windsor, is the state’s largest air facility and the second busiest in New England. BDL, which currently offers over 390 flights daily, has a constantly expanding menu of flights and a location that serves as the gateway to the entire Northeast.
